Disaster strikes every life at one time or another, anyone who tells you different is selling you something. However, part of the goodness of the gospel (i.e. “good news”) is that life works out for our good if we love God.

As many of you have heard, my family and I are moving to Corpus Christi TX at the end of the year. I am going to be the Sr. Pastor at Crossroads Baptist Church.
We are so sad to be leaving a great church with wonderful friends whom we love greatly, but we are also very excited for what God is going to do at Crossroads.
It is a new church that started in the Spring of this year and is now meeting in a store front. God has been moving so much in my heart and mind and I am looking so forward to working with the wonderful people that I’ve gotten to know over the last few months.
In the midst of trying to get everything together to move my whole family, which is a daunting task, I was feeling a little overwhelmed and I turned to this verse
Why do you cry to me? Tell the people of Israel to go forward.

Thank you Lord, you always know what we need to hear.
Our biggest concern is selling our house here in Troy, IL
Pray for us to sell our home quickly, it’s a fantastic house that we have loved and I hope that the next family will enjoy it just as much.
