I had a great lunch at Chick-Fil-A today To say the line was long was an understatement. But it was fun to fellowship with so many people, many of whom were from our church 🙂

I recently finished Mike Licona’s latest (and quite voluminous) book “The Resurrection of Jesus: A New Historiographical Approach” Based on this work, I’m going to attempt to write some specific things that have informed my understanding of the resurrection of Jesus.

What is “rich?” “Rich” is a term, like “old,” that almost always applies to someone else. Francis Bacon famously said “I will never be and old man. To me, old age is always fifteen years older than I am.”
