The Last/Lord’s Supper
• “Take eat; this is my body” is a METAPHOR (Matthew 26:26)
• Eternal life comes through BELIEF not eating bread (John 6:47)
• Jesus did not turn into BREAD or visa-versa (John 6:48)
• The mana was PHYSICAL bread, Jesus’ is not (John 6:49-51)
• Those who didn’t believe didn’t UNDERSTAND (John 6:52-59)
• Jesus’ teaching is not LITERAL is it about the SPIRIT not the flesh (John 6:60-63)
• It is about belief not BREAD (John 64-69)
Washing Feet
• Jesus serves us out of LOVE (vv.1-5)
—> SATAN will put bad ideas into your heart (v.2)
—> Sin takes hold GRADUALLY (v.27)
—> The SEED of sin is hard to see (vv.28-29)
• Jesus make us CLEAN, but we still get dirty (vv.6-11)
• Jesus is not TOO good to serve us (vv.12-17)
Betrayal
• Jesus KNOWS us and loves us anyway (vv.18-30)
• Jesus wants us to LOVE like Him (vv.31-35)
• Jesus sees past the present to our POTENTIAL (vv. 36-38)
