1Corinthians 4

1Corinthians 4:4 “For I am not conscious of anything against myself, but I am not justified by this. It is the Lord who judges me.”

vv. 1-5: Apostles are stewards of God’s mysteries; only God judges them.

vv. 6-7: Warning against pride; all gifts come from God.

vv. 8-13: Sarcasm about their “greatness”; apostles suffer as fools for Christ.

vv. 14-17: Paul admonishes as a father, sending Timothy as an example.

vv. 18-21: He’ll visit to confront arrogance, preferring gentleness if they repent.

1 Corinthians 4 defends apostolic humility and authority, urging humility before God’s judgment.
