The Son submits

Jesus is God’s Son, fulfilling prophecy through John the Baptist, who baptizes for repentance. After His baptism, where God affirms Jesus, He faces temptation in the wilderness. Jesus then begins His ministry, calling disciples, teaching with authority, exorcising demons, and healing in Galilee, emphasizing His divine authority and the need for repentance as the kingdom of God nears.

This chapter underscores the arrival of God’s kingdom, calling for immediate repentance and faith.
