Critical race theory has become pervasive in our culture in the last year or so. As Christians, we need to understand what it is, and that it is a destructive framework diametrically opposed to a biblical worldview. We hear a lot of rhetoric about “fascism” and comparisons to “Nazis” today, most of which are fare overblown hyperbole, however, CRT does follow the same line of thinking that lead to Hitler’s “final solution.” In this video, I share some thoughts about the Bible and CRT. Below are the 5 scriptures I reference in the video. Thanks for watching.
Deuteronomy 24:16
“Fathers are not to be put to death for their children, and children are not to be put to death for their fathers; each person will be put to death for his own sin.Ezekiel 18:20
The person who sins is the one who will die. A son won’t suffer punishment for the father’s iniquity, and a father won’t suffer punishment for the son’s iniquity. The righteousness of the righteous person will be on him, and the wickedness of the wicked person will be on him.Galatians 6:4-5
Let each person examine his own work, and then he can take pride in himself alone, and not compare himself with someone else.
For each person will have to carry his own load.Romans 14:10 & 12
But you, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or you, why do you despise your brother or sister? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God… So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God.2Corinthians 5:10
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each may be repaid for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.
