What fruit does your life produce for Jesus? Jesus told the Pharisees the kingdom was going to be taken away from them and given to those who would produce fruit. There’s no such thing as a fruitless Christian. The Bible is clear (Eph 2 for example) that we are not saved by our works, or what we can do, however genuine belief leads inexorably to doing something productive. If our lives aren’t any good for the kingdom, do we really believe? Let’s get to work reaching people with the gospel, teaching each other how to live as God’s word instructs us, and serving those around us, especially our fellow believers. We can do it, with the Holy Spirit, and be of some good to the kingdom. 🙂
