When arrogance comes, disgrace follows,
but with humility comes wisdom.
There is only room for one person on the throne of your life. If Jesus is your Lord, then you are not. Humility is inherent in the life of the Believer. Humility is not being a doormat or milk toast, but it is always being willing to listen, open to the idea that (if you can believe it) you could be wrong. Humility is not being so open minded your brain falls out, but it is always being ready to give a reasoned defense of what you believe to be true.
