Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name;
make known his deeds among the peoples!
Sing to him, sing praises to him;
tell of all his wondrous works!
Glory in his holy name;
let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice!
Seek the Lord and his strength;
seek his presence continually!
As Christians we both remember what God has done, as well as trust Him for what He will do. We call upon Him at all times to intervene in our lives, because we need Him every day (every hour). It is our task to make Him known to all people. We don’t do this out of a begrudging obligation, we sing it! We are joyful for what we get to do, not what we have to do. We rejoice because we are still weak yet He is strong. Seek Him all the time, He’s always there.
