What can God do with you?
“Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.
-Mark 11:22-23
The “mountain” that Jesus is talking about, I think, is the mountain of the
temple complex representing the (perverted) Jewish system of religion. The “sea” that Jesus mentioned, I think, is representative of us, the Gentiles. It’s not simply a matter of physically moving one mountain and throwing it into the sea, but it’s a spiritual idea of uprooting the entire world of faith and the very nature of how one gets to God. If you have faith, God is accessible to you. If you have faith, simple steady belief, you can bring people access to God. That’s what He can do with you, He can light the world. Will you let Him?
