I had a great lunch at Chick-Fil-A today
To say the line was long was an understatement. But it was fun to fellowship with so many people, many of whom were from our church 🙂
From the time that I got in line, to the moment when my food was finished was 2 hours and 15 min.
Though there was a mass of people, everyone was smiling and laughing about the experience. As usual, everyone behind the counter was efficient and gracious. They all had big smiles on their faces as they feverishly fulfilled orders right and left. On top of that, the food was just as wonderful as always (spicy chicken meal with waffle fries, diet lemonade, and a chocolate chunk cookie).
See, Dan Cathy is an American and is free to express his views. He does not withhold service or deny employment to anyone regardless of religious beliefs or sexual preference. If we get to a point where people are not allowed to express their own religious beliefs in public, then none of our rights as US citizens.
Anyway, it was a great experience with great people, no protesters…
