Joy in the morning

What is our hope?

Martin Resurrection Morning

Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going before you to Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.

Mark 16

Jesus told us he is God. Jesus told us he could save us, but these are just words.

The action, the miracle, that proves Jesus really is who he said he was… He is our savior! Our hope is in the resurrection. Even though we die, our life ends, we close our eyes, but as Job says:

For I know that my Redeemer lives,
and at the last he will stand upon the earth.
And after my skin has been thus destroyed,
yet in my flesh I shall see God,

Job 19:25-26

About John Harris

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.
